AfterCareers traditionally attracts “tech savy,” highly educated, experienced Career Seekers. Our Veteran Career Seekers will tend to possess the soft-skills that employers need to succeed.
AfterCareers concluded a very successful Hiring Our Heroes Veterans Hiring Event at the Reed Center in Midwest City on Monday, October 3, 2012. More than 600 Career Seekers attended the event. Our participating employers received a sortable database with extended career seeker characteristics for 700 Career Seekers who provided information through our online registration system.
We anticipate producing another career fair in Midwest City in the Spring of 2012. We normally produce two career fairs per year, at the request of the Tinker Air Force Base Airman and Family Readiness Center. We would consider producing more career fairs if there is sufficient employer demand.
